Snowmobile enthusiasts of all ages took some time to travel back a few decades at the Parkway Plaza for the Lonny Custer Memorial Snowmobile Show.

Scott Custer, event organizer told us that the the show was put in place to honor his brother Lonny who was a snowmobile enthusiast for many years.

The event brought a community of powder hounds together to re-live the past and to compare past and present snowmachines. “The weather today has been an added bonus. We have about twenty vintage sleds today and five antiques. There was a lot of people who popped in last night to see us setting up, and we have a had a great turnout today, “said Scott.

There was an ongoing silent auction and many snowmobile tales being told.

The Rocky Mountain Vintage Snowmobile Association President, Tony Crnkovich was in attendance and commented, “This keeps getting bigger and bigger every year! I think people like seeing the older sleds and comparing them to the new ones. It is fun for everybody.”

Driven Powersports brought the thunder with a few of their new 2016 sleds to compare with the vintage ones.
